Yes, you read that right. I’m indulging myself. I still have one session outstanding for processing, a happy fun BlissDom post to write, and packing to do for Ireland, but I am ignoring it for the moment. I almost never get to process pictures of me and my family (although I DO shoot them!!), and I’m just giving in to the whim that says that this is my blog, my family, my life, and I’m going to share us here. So. I’m not even putting a limit on how many photos I’ll post from this shoot.
The week of my birthday, we hit the beach with Pete’s family, and I decided to bring my camera along, just for the fun of it. I’m so glad I did. I see things in pictures, and having the pictures to hold and share, well… That is worth a lot to me. I’ve been wanting family photos for a couple of years, so I figured I’d see what I could do.
The kids flew kites, Pete went swimming, and I handed him the camera and pulled out a little posing. Because I’m so good at it. ICK. Anyway, here we are, at the beach in the second week of March. If you still have snow, please forgive me, and accept these as me, sharing our spring with you.
We leave for Ireland on Monday – I don’t know how often I’ll be here while we’re gone, and yes, I know you can’t wait to see the photos. I promise to share a few. Love and all that,

The beach looks like a lovely time and the shots are so good. I need to get a family shot before my oldest heads out. Too bad you aren’t close. ;)
