If you follow my blog at all, you know that every once in a while, I get on photography kicks that I’ve chosen to call “studies.” Really, it’s just a fancy way of saying that I was chasing a specific image or feeling, and I shot the heck out of one thing and got a bunch of photos I liked as a result. Ahem. I promise you, I am expanding my subject matter (Exhibit A: yesterday’s photo marathon – eek!), but I do have habits. And I got to practice on a pretty girl with amazing hair who trusted me. Add in a sea breeze, a bit of twilight blue, a floppy grey hat, and a locally-built Bilda bicycle, and… well…
So yes. I got a little carried away with Emily’s photos. I can’t even post them all here because my internal editor is hollering at me. Ahem. These are some of my Favorite. Photos. Ever. (Ha! Why do I keep saying this? I just… you all are going to stop listening to me! I guess it’s okay to love my work…)
Um. Also. I have an idea. And I’m willing to steeply discount an evening beach session for another pretty girl sometime next week. There are a couple of shots that I’m dying to get for my portfolio and I’m short a model to make them happen. If you’re interested, please just drop me an email or message me on Facebook.
