Joseph Proposed, and I Pretended I Was In Paris

This sweet couple made my Mother’s Day with a proposal that happened in spite of the interruptions of one Very Rude and Clueless Photographer who stepped in to steal the moment – and the shoot. But Joseph proposed, Rebecca said yes, and their photos are at The Girl in the White Dress today!

The cloudy day we had infused some romantic, timeless depth into their images, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the way they turned out. This shot – the giggle in the kiss, the lampposts, umbrella, and that teeny bit of blur – it feels a little like Paris. And if you know me at all, you know that Paris makes me happy. At least the idea of it. Someday, I’m going to shoot there.
