The moment I met Ashley, I knew she was an amazing person. I have NEVER begun a photo session with a hug, but this girl pulled me right into her life with an incredible warmth and optimism that turned her photo session into pure play. I died when SHE told ME early in the shoot that she wanted ME to be completely at ease – totally stealing my line on an evening when I totally needed it. Her laughter drew smiles from everyone around us; she was so full of life that you couldn’t help being drawn into the fun.
But even though Ashley was fun, she wasn’t all laughter – underneath her joyful, adventurous exterior, she keeps a quiet, thoughtful depth that invited me to discover beauty where she didn’t consider it might be. She was a delightful surprise, a gift to photograph, and I enjoyed every minute I spent with her, both shooting and post-processing. (I’m not kidding – I grinned all the way through my cull!)

Diana – people are people, and there is beauty in everyone. Being photogenic is really just about being comfortable under the camera. I guess I just have really comfortable clients. ;-)
