After throwing my neck out on Friday, I lost most of the weekend to back pain and some pretty good discouragement. On my way back from chiro this morning with some relief from the pain, I found myself mentally composing everything I saw into a photo, so I pulled out my Nikon when I got home – just for something different – and shot off a few images to get it out of my system, as I plan to focus hard on processing this afternoon.
Now, I need to figure out a way to get this lens on my Canon cameras – I LOVE this macro! – but playing with my D200 reminded me that even the left behind, overlooked things in the world still have a lot of beauty to give. No one – NOTHING – is useless. There is so much grace.

Have you tried the Canon 100mm 2.8 macro?
Heidi – I rented it at my last wedding – loved it. But this is the macro I have in house, and I’m kinda loving my D200 this week. ;-)
